oh dear, i'm here. a day after 39. i spent my marking day at the Royal Melbourne Show with my beloved family, including my sister-in-law and her 3 tikes. these are my 2 kids in the pic above - enjoying a 'picnic' complete with their self-made hanging 'food-stuffs'. i was so quiet all day, even on the Ferris Wheel when the others all screamed in delight. I looked out of our cage and watched the motorcyclists risk their lives doing flips. i thought about life and how quickly it passes. i thought about my cousin who - at 60 - just succumbed to a battle with the big C. i thought about how fast these nearly 40 years have flown and how i have so much more to give and achieve. one of those things is my voice via my writing - so grateful to @Echo Publishing and @Angela Meyer for picking up and believing in #GhostGirls. So thankful to @KylieMason for her work on the copy edit and so excited and scared that my story is about to be available to the public. I really hope you all enjoy it; it's a crime story, via genre, but also a story about women loving each other and fighting forward; it aims, in part, to be a fictional testimony to the female spirit and fight against 'it all'. Cath.
